Amari Supercars are proud to present this exceptional Ferrari Testarossa, supplied new by Isaac Agnew Holdings Ferrari in September 1989, finished in the iconic Rosso Corsa over Crema hide.

The Ferrari Testarossa went into production in 1984 as the successor to the Ferrari Berlinetta Boxer. The Pininfarina-designed car was originally produced from 1984 to 1991. This was not the first Testarossa in Ferrari's history. In the late 1950's the Testarossa name was used for one of its vehicles because of red cam covers. Testarossa means 'redhead'. The Testarossa was first shown at the 1984 Paris Auto Show. The engine was a modified version of the 512 BB. It had four-valves per cylinder, Marelli electronic ignition, Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection, and capable of producing 390 bhp from the 4943 cc horizontally opposed 12 cylinders. The 0 to 60 mph time was an impressive for the day (and even by today's standards!) factory quoted time of 5.3 seconds and top speed was above 180 mph. All versions of the Testarossa were rear wheel drive and had a rear-mounted, five-speed manual transmission.

This example benefits from distinguished provenance, having most recently been supplied to its current custodian by Graypaul Ferrari Nottingham in 2016. Its history is further elevated by Ferrari “Classiche” Certificazione di Autenticità, confirming its authenticity and originality in accordance with the factory’s archival records — a highly desirable accreditation for collectors.

The classic Rosso Corsa exterior perfectly complements the wide, straked bodywork that defined an era of Ferrari design, while the Crema hide interior provides a timeless contrast, reflective of late-1980s Maranello craftsmanship. The cabin remains a wonderfully analogue environment, centred around the flat-12 engine that became synonymous with the Testarossa name.

Introduced in 1984, the Testarossa quickly became one of Ferrari’s most recognisable road cars, celebrated for its dramatic side strakes, wide rear track and unmistakable presence. Today, Classiche-certified examples with strong provenance and period-correct specification are increasingly sought after, representing a rare opportunity to acquire one of Ferrari’s definitive twelve-cylinder grand tourers.
