Amari is delighted to present this 1997 Lamborghini Diablo SV, finished in Giallo with a five-speed manual gearbox and showing 59,464 km.
Unveiled at the 1995 Geneva Motor Show, the Diablo SV (Super Veloce) revived the name made famous by the Miura SV and was built as the purist's Diablo. It drops the four-wheel drive of the VT in favour of rear-wheel drive and pairs a naturally aspirated 5.7-litre V12, uprated to over 500 bhp, with an adjustable rear wing and distinctive SV styling. As a pre-facelift car, this example keeps the pop-up headlights that define the original Diablo shape.
Finished in bold, quintessentially Lamborghini Giallo, this SV is complemented by a grey Alcantara interior with contrasting Giallo piping.
Full specification and history to follow shortly.
This Diablo SV comes from a private collection of 52 cars, whose owner employed a dedicated full-time mechanic and ran his own on-site service centre. The car was serviced and cared for there using only genuine Lamborghini parts. An extensive history file backs this up, complete with supporting paperwork and a covering letter.
