Amari Supercars are delighted to present this UK-supplied Ferrari 458 Speciale Aperta, one of only 499 built with just 49 allocated to the UK, and home to the most powerful naturally aspirated road-going V8 Ferrari has ever made.

What sets this car apart is how it was specified and how it has been cared for. The parallel Nero Stellato racing stripes give it the look collectors seek out on a Speciale, and the theme carries inside, where carbon fibre racing seats with yellow fabric centres and a matching headliner make for a far bolder cabin than most. Its service history has stayed within Ferrari’s main dealer network from the very first visit.

Ferrari took the 458 Speciale, removed the roof and lost nothing against the clock: the Aperta matched the coupe’s 1 minute 23.5 second lap of Fiorano. Its V8 produces 597 bhp and 398 lb ft, revs to 9,000 rpm and takes the car from 0 to 62 mph in 3.0 seconds and to 124 mph in 9.5. Active aerodynamics at both ends and Ferrari’s Side Slip Angle Control let a driver use all of it, and with the aluminium hard top stowed in 14 seconds, there is nothing between that driver and the sound of the engine.

Every V8 Ferrari since has been turbocharged, so this engine, and the way it sounds at the top of its range, can no longer be ordered new.
