Overview
Amari Supercars are delighted to present this Mercedes-AMG G 63 4x4², a limited special model that follows the G 63 AMG 6x6 and G 500 4x4² in the line of extreme G-Class specials.
What sets this car apart is how far its specification commits to the dark. Both AMG Night Packages, gloss black Manufaktur stars and black mirror housings leave the portal axles, wide arches and red brake callipers to provide the drama. Inside, the mood changes completely. Diamond-stitched red nappa leather wraps the seats and door panels, set against a black roof lining, carbon fibre trim and Manufaktur leather grab handles.
Specially built portal axles raise ground clearance to 351mm and allow it to wade through 910mm of water, with a 40-degree ramp angle and the ability to climb 45-degree inclines. Permanent all-wheel drive sends power to every corner, and its twin-turbocharged V8 produces 577 bhp and 627 lb ft, so this is still every inch an AMG on the road.
From the outside this G-Class gives very little away. Then the door opens on all that red leather, and the whole specification makes sense.
