**** VAT QUALIFYING ****
Our car is a beautiful 2005 registered example of the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Left Hand Drive in Crystal Laurite Silver with obligatory complimentary red leather interior with carbon detailing and has covered only 6,615 Miles by 2 Previous Owners. The SLR was manufactured in the UK but this particular SLR was originally supplied to Lebanon, with a European Specification when new and type approval, but as there was not a McLaren dealer in Lebanon the car remained as a collection piece and only covered a few miles, the car was then sold to a collector in Korea where it was registered to the owner of Samsung Communications.
We bought this car direct from the owner who was a collector that we bought along with several other vehicles. This car then went directly to SLR Brooklands (Steve Perret) and got a full health check which we were happy with and is ready to be registered anywhere in Europe and we have the full booklet for the vehicle and two keys. The car has just currently passed an MOT, is an exemplary piece of Mercedes-Benz Engineering, is a great investment and highly sought after.

The Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren is a grand tourer car jointly developed by Mercedes-Benz and McLaren Automotive, built in Portsmouth and the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, Surrey, England and sold from 2003 to 2010. When it was developed, German manufacturer Mercedes-Benz owned 40 percent of the McLaren Group. SLR stands for "Sport Leicht Rennsport" (Sport Light Racing), homage to the Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR which served as the McLaren's inspiration. Both coupe and roadster versions were offered.
The Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren was inspired by the Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupe of 1955, which was a modified Mercedes-Benz W196S race car. It was introduced on 17 November 2003 and saw a production run of over six years. On 4 April 2008, Mercedes announced it would discontinue the SLR. The last of the coupes rolled off the production line at the end of 2009 and the roadster version was dropped in early 2010.
Due to the automatic gear box, front mid-engined arrangement, and its driving characteristics, some commentators classify the SLR McLaren as a GT, whose rivals would include vehicles such as the Aston Martin DBS V12 and Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano.
