About the Car

We are very happy to offer this lovely 1984 Ferrari 308 GTS Quattrovalvole for sale.

These cars were famously used in the Magnum PI television series, and anyone who grew up in the 80's dreamed about driving a 308 GTS QV.

This car was originally supplied in Germany before being exported to USA and spent its early days in Florida, before being imported to the UK in 1990.
Most of its time in the UK has been in dry storage, so it is an exceptionally clean car and presented just as a low milage Ferrari should be.

It has covered just 26007 miles and looks fantastic in Rosso Corsa with Tan leather seats, Nero carpets and dashboard.

The targa roof lifts out easily, the hinges lock it into place and there are no leaks from it.

All the switchgear is in great condition and works as it should.

I have spoke to Ferrari North Europe about the car, they have confirmed that the car was originally supplied by Auto Becker of Germany. Now the records state that it was exported to the US but that is all it shows as this was way back before they kept more in depth details.

So using that information, it is pretty safe to say it was specced for the German market and then was exported at a very early stage of its life. This would tie up with the spec of the car, i.e. no big bumpers and euro exhaust.

As it is a Euro spec car it is more valuable and collectable and has all the best features without any of the drawbacks of the US cars.

These include:

Deep front spoiler
Wider 16" Speedline wheels
Roof and aerofoil in satin black
Air conditioning

It doesnt have the big US bumpers which are pretty ugly or the "diapers" around the exhausts.

The original 3 spoke Momo steering wheel is present along with the Hitachi cassette player and Pirelli tyre information sticker.

There is a large file of old invoices and paperwork which details all the work and servicing done to the car over the years.

The paintwork and bodywork is in outstanding condition and needs to be seen to be appreciated.

We have many more photos of this car from all angles, although if you would to see any particular parts we can take photos for you.

We welcome any inspection, and it can be inspected in our service department.
