The Ferrari 512 BBi represents the final and most refined evolution of Ferrari’s Berlinetta Boxer series, a line that marked the brand’s first adoption of mid-mounted flat-12 engines for its road cars. Introduced in 1981, the 512 BBi carried forward the dramatic wedge-shaped styling of its predecessors while introducing Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection. Resulting in improved reliability, smoother performance, and cleaner emissions.
At the heart of the 512 BBi is its 4.9-litre flat-12 engine, delivering a broad, effortless surge of power and a uniquely mechanical soundtrack that remains iconic among Ferrari enthusiasts.
