The Ferrari 599 GTB 60 F1 “Alonso Edition” is a spectacular send off for the 599 series, launched in December 2011 to commemorate 60 years of Formula 1 victories for Ferrari, from Froilán González’s first Silverstone win in 1951 to Fernando Alonso’s triumph there in 2011. With only 40 units produced worldwide, and just nine in right hand drive, it remains one of the lowest production special edition Ferraris ever built.
Under the skin, it shares the 6.0 litre V12 of the standard 599 GTB, but features the enhanced HGTE chassis with stiffer suspension, shorter springs, and firmer anti roll bars for sharper handling and track capable dynamics. Cosmetically, it is distinguished by the unique Alonso themed livery, dashes of white on the front spoiler, bonnet, roof pillars, boot, and rear louvres, Scuderia Ferrari shields on the B pillars, and 20 inch diamond finish forged wheels. Red brake calipers, painted Scuderia Ferrari shields, and carbon fibre sill kicks further reinforce its motorsport pedigree.
The interior is fully racetrack inspired, carbon fibre trim, red and blue FIA style safety harnesses, a white rev counter, and a white top dash in high end Alutex material.
Blending extreme rarity, F1 heritage, and heightened performance, the 599 GTB 60 F1 “Alonso Edition” is one of the most collectible and evocative interpretations of the 599, offering a perfect balance of track focused engineering and grand touring elegance.
