Overview

Embarking on a desert adventure, the Dakar Rally has always been more than just a race—it's a formidable test of endurance and a thrilling escapade. From the onset, it has showcased the resilience of the toughest drivers, paired with the most rugged vehicles, with the legendary triumph of the 911 Carrera 3.2 4x4 Paris-Dakar (953) in 1984.

Enter the new Porsche 911 Dakar, a worthy successor that pays homage to its heritage through the Rallye Design Package, reviving the spirit of the original. As Ferry Porsche aptly puts it, it's a journey "On to the next stage."

In rallying, performance, robust technology, and endurance reign supreme. The 911 Dakar epitomizes this philosophy, excelling in both offroad and on-road environments while making a statement in the urban landscape.

The 911 Dakar, equipped with the Rallye Design Package, dons a distinctive Shade Green, embodying Porsche's commitment to strong performance. The rally-specific enhancements, such as stiffer unit mounts from the 911 GT3, rear-axle steering, and PDCC active roll stabilisation, create an optimally tuned chassis package, ensuring mastery over the most challenging rally terrains.

With 80 mm more ground clearance, the Dakar dominates varied landscapes. A specially developed lift system adds an extra 30 mm at the front and rear, facilitating speeds of up to 93 mph on gravel roads. The maximum speed at 80 mm is an impressive 105 mph.

Rallye Launch Control and the Sport Chrono Package offer specific performance settings for gravel, mud, wet grass, sand dunes, and rocky passages, ensuring optimal control in diverse rally conditions.

The Rallye Sport Package enhances protection for offroad and circuit driving, featuring six-point seatbelts, a black powder-coated steel roll bar, and an easily accessible fire extinguisher.

Visually, the two-tone paint finish in White/Gentian Blue Metallic, gold/red decorative stripes, and 19/20-inch wheels pay homage to the iconic 1984 Porsche 953. The Rallye Design Package adds further dynamic elements to the cockpit, with the GT sports steering wheel covered in non-slip Race-Tex, decorative inlays in brushed Black aluminium, and a limited edition plaque.

The 911 Dakar's interior features full bucket seats made of carbon-fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) for optimal lateral support and lightweight design. For adventurers seeking comfort, the adaptive sports seats Plus offer 18-way electric adjustments and a blend of Race-Tex and leather.

In the pursuit of excellence, Porsche presents the world's first chronograph with a titanium carbide case—the strictly limited-edition Chronograph 911 Dakar, exclusively for the proud owners of the Porsche 911 Dakar.

For those seeking further personalization, Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur offers an extended range of exterior and interior options to make each Porsche a unique expression of its owner's taste and style.
